Counsellor, kitchen witch, keeper of strange rabbits

You were never too much. You were just badly managed.

I'm Bryn Meadows. I've been a counsellor for 25 years, and I help women stop apologizing for taking up space.

My practice is full. My groups aren't.

I'm not taking new one-to-one clients right now. I've come to think that's good news for you.

Shame grows in private. It shrinks in a room full of women who say "me too" and mean it. So that's where I'm putting my time.

Who's running this thing

I have a master's in clinical counselling, 25 years of practice and a long history with shame, perfectionism, substance use and disordered eating. Mine and other people's.

I'm a certified Daring Way™ facilitator. I started Menopolooza, a live event for women in menopause who would like some answers and a laugh. I co-host Unprepared, a podcast about the things we were never told. I wrote Unbecoming: A Self-Worth Program for Women.

I swear a little. I laugh a lot. I take your pain seriously and myself less so.
